I bought my first pair some decade and a half ago at a skateboard shop after trying several other shoes. I loved the way they fit and how comfortable they were. They were my favorite shoes to go flying on planes with for how easy on and off they go and walked miles upon miles in them through European cobblestone, up Korean mountaintops, and California beaches. Eventually, about 6 or 7 years in, they started getting a bit ripe and the sole was getting well worn. I thought an insole would help, but they didn't. Anyway, it's been a long time and no shoe I've bought in the last few yars has brought me joy the way these did and I'm about to finally order my second pair.

Second pair of these, first pair lasted 5 years before my toes came through the sole. They look great, they hold up to my ‘construction worker’ roughness, and they’re the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. Don’t know what I’m going to do if they quit making them…
