I live in South Africa where sandals are a standard part of life because it gets so hot; I wear mine almost every day of the year. Sadly, there aren't many comfortable choices around and I've often ended up with aching feet because of this. Today, my feet are loving me. These sandals are more comfortable than my running shoes, for general everyday walking about. Thank you Sanuk for making my feet happy!

I desparately wish that you hadn't changed the thong on these from that diesel cable style to the thin, weak, 2 strap style like everyone else has. Those thongs always start to fray after about 2 months before breaking way before they wear out causing me to throw out a perfectly broke in pair of flops.

By now I've probably gone through 10 pairs and 3 different evolutions in the design of this flip-flop. I discovered them at Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach back in 2000 and have been putting literally nothing on my feet ever since. Oh, of course I have to put on "grownup" shoes now and again. But if I can help it, these are all I ever wear. They feel great on my feet, look cool and take a beating (To go through 10 pairs you just know I have to wear them all the time). And at the price, they are hands down the best flip-flop I have ever worn.
