LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Shorties any way that I can get them! I have one pair of "normal" Sanuks but I always choose to skip them for one of my shorty pairs. I guess I have a high in-step so the opening in the normal pairs hit me where my leg curves into the tops of my feet and that causes them to chafe. I like it that the Shorty "tongue" area is lower down the top of my feet. I would wear Sanuks every day - and in the nicer weather I DO! I own all three new Limelight styles, the original Limelight and several pairs of flips. I am now a retired teacher but when I was teaching last year the Sanuks made my feet HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY! (Which makes me a much nicer person!)

I wear these to school and I always get compliments and they are so comfy to wear around.

I am exactly a size 8 1/2, so I was told to go a half size down because they would "stretch out." There is no way these would ever stretch out enough to be comfortable. My toes were actually bruised after only wearing them for a short time. They got sent back and I'm going up a size to 9. I think a good hint is go for your "running shoe size." I usually get a 9 in those.
